Debby Rask Interior Design Co. is a small, female-owned studio founded in Houston, Texas, now working fully online with clients across the United States. Over the last decade we've grown from a single-room practice to a team active in Texas, New York, Illinois, and Florida — with the same stubborn belief that interiors should feel inherited rather than installed.

Founder, principal designer, first pair of eyes.
Debby founded the studio in Houston in 2014 after a decade of working inside larger firms. She trained as an architect, apprenticed with a textile designer in Belgium, and still keeps a corner of the studio for her personal loom. Every project — from a single reading nook to a fifteen-room farmhouse — passes through her hands.

What we believe
Three working principles.

Material before mood.
We choose materials that age generously — limewash, unlacquered brass, oak, linen, hand-thrown ceramic. The mood follows.

One client at a time.
We take on a small number of projects each year so the principal | Debby — is in every meeting and on every site visit.

Built for ordinary days.
Sunday breakfast, muddy boots, a teenager's friends through the door. A room that doesn't work on a regular Tuesday isn't finished.
