On the slow entryway
Why the first eight feet of a house deserve more attention than the last eight thousand dollars of furniture.
Vol. 11 · Spring Folio
Debby Rask is a full-service interior design studio working with families and small businesses nationwide, with active projects across Texas, New York, Illinois, and Florida. We build slow, layered rooms that hold up to ordinary Tuesday afternoons.

Featured Project
Full renovation of a 1902 farmhouse in Columbia County. We kept the original oak floors and rebuilt the kitchen around honed Calacatta, unlacquered brass, and a plaster range hood | the kind of details that look like they were always there.
Event Halls
A small archive of recent event interiors | from intimate supper rooms to ballrooms set for two hundred. Swipe to wander through.
№ 01 | Houston, TX
Cascading crystal beneath coffered beams | a setting built for celebration.
Philosophy
“A good room is a long conversation between the things you've gathered and the light you actually live in. Our work is to listen carefully on both sides.”
— Debby Raskin, Founder

Kind Words
“Debby gave us a house that finally feels like the one we'd been describing to each other for years. The rooms are calm and the details are quietly perfect.”

Transformation
A tired living room brought quietly forward — the same architecture, the same footprint, honest materials given room to breathe. Drag the handle to compare.

The Process
Whether we're finishing a single room or a whole house, the shape of the work stays the same — a careful start, a patient middle, and a finish that quietly disappears into your life.
01
A complimentary virtual consultation to walk through your rooms, your rhythm, and the story you want the house to tell.
02
Floor plans, material palettes, and full room concepts — presented in a folio you keep, revised until every choice feels inevitable.
03
We manage sourcing, custom pieces, install, and styling. You come home to a finished room, not a to-do list.

A short list of the cloth we specify again and again, and the small mills that still make it the old way.
